Cozy accommodation in the heart of Akihabara’s Electric Town

This hotel is in a prime location if you’re travelling alone or with a companion in Akihabara. It’s close to all of the sights and sounds and there’s easy access to the train station. The staff is also very foreigner friendly…a definite plus!

Overall nice exp both akihabara market and station were near like 2 mins walk but room size was small but as tokyo has space issues so all hotels have same sized rooms but price could be cheaper

Everything was in place and provided in the small clean room. Excellent location to explore Tokyo with good transport links. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and could speak English :)

Check-in time is too late and will have to check out early. So the booking is considered one day but we get less than one day.

Dont like the late check-in and early check-out time. There is no flexibility or negotiation.

The bathroom had a lot of accesories, likewise the room was well lit with a big TV and a nice desk. The hotel overall was pretty modern.

The pillows were like wooden planks, only the bed providing the cushion feeling. The bathroom was a bit dirty in some parts, plus the lack of a closet to store the clothes. We also didn't enjoy the room window not being able to be opened as staying for a week made the atmosphere of the room be heavy with the lack of ventilation.

A slightly small (by western standards) but otherwise excellent room for an unbeatable price.

Good location for the price, where I wanted to be in Akihabara, staff was helpful, rooms were clean.

Minor thing: Pillows were japanese style, an option for a western style pillow would have really made this a 10/10. Nothing else bad, especially for the price

Good location, quiet at night. Friendly staff.

Rooms are extremely small, can’t really fit two large suitcases anywhere so a lot of hassle. Bed and bathroom are also very small, pillows super flat and not comfortable.

Wonderful

I love the location. Right in the bustling back streets of akihabara. Its not the newest APA hotel and there are some shortcomings. But the location makes up for it (therefore the high rating)

There are some shortcomings, but nothing major. The pillow is really not comfortable, and there is only 1 per person. Its a bit expensive expensive, but again you pay for the location. The VOD Movie service is not free like in some other APA locations. Its 1.000 yen from a vending machine in the hall.

Good location, reasonably clean (if small) room.

The location was fantastic, right in Akihabara and close to the station. The room was fairly clean if a bit small. If you are travelling with a large suitcase, you will struggle finding a place where it won't get in the way.

The room, while fairly clean overall, could be shown a bit more attention. There was a laminated room information sheet under the bed which I found by accident, and there was an old french fry on it. To be fair, the cleaning staff seemed very busy every time I saw them, and it is somewhat understandable that they might miss checking under the bed.

Best location!

In the middle of Akihabara, perfect location. Close to Akihabara Station. Lots of things to do around. Quiet, even with the busy streets basically right next door.

Pillows were very thin.

Wonderful

I booked into this APA last minute as I had stayed here before and needed to leave a hotel that was very unclean and made me sick. APA is the complete opposite - it's clean, comfortable, amenities are good and refreshed daily outside the door. A clean is done every 3rd day. The beds are very comfy, and although typically small I slept very well there. The staff at reception are very helpful, one allowed me to sit in reception for an indefinite amount of time as I was unwell at the end of my trip, whilst my partner had to go out. She also arranged the taxi to the airport for us, assisted with translation and our suitcases. I was very unwell so I appreciate this. No complaints, I like the location and proximity to Akihabara. We'll likely be back on our next trip.

The only downside is the pillows aren't the best! But I have a small cushion I used when travelling, so this wasn't an issue for me. They're a bit thin, but you may be able to ask for more, I didn't try.

Amazing staff

This is are second time staying at the hotel and we loved it just as much as the first we did have an issue with the room. The website doesn’t say specifically that when you pay for a bigger room, you’re only paying for a bigger bed, not the space of the room.

Great location and staff!

The location was very great. Close to the akihabara station and it’s centre. The staff was really great as well. After our check out, they let us leave our luggage until the flight time.

The rooms are pretty small but i knew it beforehand so it is better to check the room size before booking.
